Welcome to Nwoya Charity Foundation (NCF)

At Nwoya Charity Foundation (NCF), we are driven by a deep commitment to transforming lives and giving hope to the most vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda. Since our establishment in 2019, we have worked across Nwoya, Pader, Kitgum, Omoro, Gulu, and Amuru Districts, delivering holistic, community-led programs that address critical challenges in education, health, livelihoods, and social justice.

We are a fully registered nonprofit organization headquartered in Nwoya District, Northern Uganda.

Our Vision - To empower vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda to thrive sustainably through holistic development, fostering resilience, dignity, and self-reliance.

Our Mission – To improve the socio-economic well-being of vulnerable and underserved populations in Northern Uganda by providing support in education, health, livelihoods, economic empowerment, and social justice through community-driven initiatives.

Board of Governance:
The Foundation is governed by a Board comprising respected local leaders, professionals, and community representatives who provide strategic guidance, oversight, and policy direction. The current members include:

Key Achievements

At Nwoya Charity Foundation (NCF), we are dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable individuals in Northern Uganda, with a focus on empowering women, children, and marginalized communities. Through a holistic approach, we address critical needs in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

Scholastic_materials

Economic empowerment projects:

Supported over 100 households through skills training in briquette making, tailoring, and agriculture, improving household incomes.

Health Initiatives:

Successfully conducted health camps, reaching over 1,000 community members with free medical check-ups and treatment.

Education Support:

Provided school supplies and scholarships to over 150 vulnerable children, with a focus on girls' education.

Social Justice:

Established a Legal Aid Desk, offering legal advice and mediation services to over 50 cases related to gender-based violence and land disputes.

Environmental Impact:

Planted over 900 trees and trained community members in sustainable farming practices, significantly reducing deforestation rates.
